This Cancellation Policy explains how Hingora Educational & Welfare Trust Kachchh (HEWT) handles cancellation, rescheduling, and refunds for donations, event participation, and facility bookings such as Hingora Samajwadi. Please read this policy together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. General Principle
HEWT is a charitable trust. Most contributions and programme fees support community welfare, education, health, and infrastructure. Decisions on refunds are made fairly, transparently, and in accordance with trust rules and applicable law.
2. Donations
Voluntary donations made to the Trust are generally non-refundable because they are allocated to charitable activities. Refunds may be considered only in exceptional cases, such as:
- Duplicate payment or technical payment error verified by the Trust.
- Donation made under demonstrable mistake of fact, subject to committee review.
- Refund required by applicable law or banking regulations.
3. Event & Programme Registration
For trust-organised events, meetings, health camps, education programmes, or mass marriage-related activities, cancellation terms (if any) will be communicated at the time of registration. Unless otherwise stated, registration fees or contributions may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs close to the event date or after arrangements have been made.
4. Hingora Samajwadi (Community Hall) Booking
Bookings for Hingora Samajwadi are subject to availability and trust committee approval. Cancellations should be requested as early as possible. Refund or adjustment of booking charges, if applicable, will be decided by the Trust based on notice period, expenses already incurred, and committee policy.
5. Trust-Initiated Cancellation
If HEWT cancels or postpones an event, programme, or facility booking due to weather, safety, government orders, or unforeseen circumstances, the Trust will try to offer rescheduling or a fair adjustment. Any refund decision will be communicated by authorised trust representatives.
6. How to Request Cancellation or Refund Review
Submit your request in writing through our Contact page or to the trust office with your name, contact number, date of payment/booking, amount, and reason. The Trust committee will review and respond within a reasonable time.
7. Policy Updates
HEWT may update this Cancellation Policy at any time. The current version will be published on this page with the updated date.
