Health Department
Responsibility for maintaining health and well-being of the entire district and duties for initiating violent action to prevent spreading epidemics at any place of the district. Good hygiene is necessary for well-being of public for which the district administration keeps vigilance over public health through the health personnel by administering vaccination home to home.
Department provides Health care fecilities in the rural area by Doctors, Staff nurses,Lady Health visitors, Jr.H.A(F)and Jr.H.A.(M), Pharmacists and other staff. Jr.H.A(F)and Jr.H.A.(M) educate public to get awareness regarding various diseases and also deliver the health care services by visiting door to door of their allotted work places. And they also give medicines for minor health problems and also advise public to get regular health checkups by the specialist doctors in case of any abnormal health problems.
