Hingora Community Hall Inaugurated at Vinzan by Dr. Jahangirshah Bapu
Meritorious Students of the Hingora Community Across Kutch Honored During the Event

Naliya: On this occasion, the Hingora Educational & Welfare Trust, operated under the Akhil Kutch Hingora Community, inaugurated the newly constructed Hingora Community Hall (Samajwadi) at Vinzan village in Abdasa Taluka. The inauguration was performed by the respected elder of the family of Mufti-e-Azam Kutch Ahmedshah Bawa, Allama Alhaj Dr. Jahangirshah Bapu.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Maulana Abdul Khaliq Khirasra. Thereafter, meritorious students from the Hingora community across Kutch district were honored with awards and certificates by Syed Haji Sultan Shah Bapu, Syed Haji Amin Shah Bapu, Syed Salim Shah Bapu, Syed Bashir Shah Bapu, Syed Ibrahim Shah Bapu, Syed Tanvir Shah Bapu, and Pirzada Nursha Bawa.

Donors who contributed towards the construction of the community hall and individuals who played a significant role in developing the community complex were also felicitated. Subsequently, Allama Alhaj Dr. Jahangirshah Bapu delivered an inspiring address and concluded with a special prayer (Dua-e-Khair).

Following the inauguration ceremony, a General Assembly Meeting was held, during which various community matters were discussed. Since two consecutive three-year terms of the committee had been completed, Hajiyunusbhai Sandhavwala was unanimously re-elected as President, and Khaledbhai Khirasrawala was unanimously appointed as General Secretary for the next term.

During the meeting, registration for the Fifth Group Marriage Ceremony (Samuh Shadi) was announced. Application forms would be accepted from 1 December to 10 January, and the ceremony was scheduled to be held on 11 February.

Speakers highlighted that within a short span of six years, the committee had made remarkable contributions in the fields of education, healthcare, group marriages, ration-kit distribution, and various welfare activities for needy families. They noted that the Hingora community was among the first Muslim communities in Abdasa Taluka to establish such facilities for future generations.

The program was conducted by the Trust Treasurer, Husain Saheb Arjanpar, while arrangements were efficiently managed by Haji Yakub Hingora (Dhanavada), Alimamad Hingora (Vinzan), Ilyas Hingora (Khirasra), Mustak Maulana (Gadhwala), Jusab Hingora (Nanavada) and their team members.
